Welcome to the circles!

If you’re ready to be embraced by the circle, below are 3 ways to join us that all follow the same Journey Writing Circle Way.

In Person Circles

We gather in a beautiful, shaded, Bedouin-like, ceremonial canvas Bell Tent on private land in Lafayette, Colorado (8 miles outside of Boulder) where I am blessed to live in a semi-rural co-housing community on 40-acres of land with kind, creative people.

The tent gets really hot during the day in the summer months so we meet morning or evening to avoid the heat. Come the colder months, we will gather indoors in a lovely community space/yoga room. I offer comfortable cushions, tea, water and snacks and you bring your own journal and pen!

* Space is limited to 8 participants

Online Circles

We gather virtually—the benefit of which is you can join from anywhere in the world!

I have been leading regular lazy Sunday morning tea & pajama party Journey Writing Circles since Covid hit and people love it. Consider it like a form of Sunday church or Sunday ecstatic dance or a Sunday hike only the journey is on the blank page.

Even though most of us are Zoomed out, I have a group of loyal fans of the work who join from the Bay Area (where I lived before moving to Boulder, Colorado) and swear that it’s just as intimate and goes just as deep as in person. (Although I know nothing can take the place of a real, live human). Try it!

* Space is limited to 8 participants

Circles at your Organization

Journey Writing is a powerful practice that serves people from all walks of life and various demographics.

As long as participants are willing to stay open to the work of being vulnerable, real, and honest, this work will serve them.

Journey Writing works well for any type of organization that serves women or teen girls who would benefit from getting real with one another, creating meaningful connections, doing deep inner work and diving into the messy, creative practice of free writing.

Below are examples of the types of organizations that Journey Writing serves (this is not an exhaustive list):

  • High Schools
  • Colleges / Universities
  • Treatment / Rehab Centers
  • Eating Disorder Support Groups
  • Girl Empowerment Organizations
  • Women Empowerment Organizations
  • At-risk Youth Programs
  • Retreat Centers
  • Grief Groups
  • Divorce Groups
  • Book Clubs

It would be my honor to serve your organization with this powerful, soul-changing work!
